Morning!

The sun is coming up a little earlier each day. Love that. With the sun comes a miriad of people who wander from their beds hungry!

For them: Pancakes. (Which, let's just be real, are merely a vehicle for butter and syrup. I allow it)

For me: 2 eggs, asapargus, lemon zest, cayenne, salt and pepper, and a splash of half and half. Bake at 400 in a buttered dish until set.  Mmmm, mmmm.

I know you are there and that I am here...but I really wish you could come for breakfast. 

It's my favorite time of the day and I make a pretty good latte.

I probably don't have a cup with your initial on it... but we could just stay in our pajamas all day. So what do you say?

Windy

We had a very blustery storm blow through last night. 

I did my best to weather it...

... wtih some of this and some red wine (okay a lot of that) and this.

It was rough, but I managed to make it through the night.
